Townsville Cruise Ship Terminal

Project Requirements

Being engaged direct to Port of Townsville to replace, and re-configure the internal and external lighting throughout the facility, and also the Building Management System (BMS) to allow the building to upgrade to full LED and a BMS interface which is more user friendly and more energy efficient.

Implementation

Working in with the Port of Townsville Cruise ship terminal schedule, we will replace all the lighting internally and externally, completed over multiple segments to ensure no disruption to the boarding or disembarking passengers.  The new BMS interface will allow port staff to be able to log on remotely to activate the system for ships arriving, and also monitor all lighting and air conditioning data within the one interface.  This will provide not only a system more user friendly, but also something that the Port of Townsville will be able to ensure the building can run more energy efficient, for years to come.  With this facility being the first impressions for many visitors, this is an important project to ensure this building remains a high standard and aesthetically pleasing to those who are arriving into Townsville for the first time.
